  1. Heat cast iron skillet over medium heat
  2. Pat dry chuck roast and heavily season with S&P & Onion Powder
  3. Throw some oil in skillet
  4. Throw roast in and brown all sides - dark
  5. Take roast out and set aside
  6. Lower heat - throw in onions and saute
  7. Deglaze with sherry for a few minutes
  8. While onions are getting happy, put potatoes and carrots on bottom of crockpot
  9. Put roast on top of them bitches
  10. Take onions and top roast with them
  11. In a separate bowl - mix can cream of celery & mushroom
  12. Pour mixture over boof
  13. Take lipton packet and sprinkle over boof
  14. Cover & cook on low for 8 hours
  15. Devastate your hunger preferably with a side of uncomfortable amounts of Texas Toast
  16. Perhaps throw some peas in if you feel schwifty
